A Little Bit About Me
Let's get straight to the nitty gritty and focus on facts, this way we don't waste each other's valuable time.
I'm a full time single father to two very young children both below the age of 4, they are in my full time care since they were young. I raise them with the help of my elderly parents. For those that ask, their mom and I are divorced and she simply isn't prepared to care for them as she should.
I've been brought up in Canada since I was about 10 years old and the household I was raised in did not have a strong cultural/traditional influence so I don't associate myself nor have any attachments to Bangladesh traditional practices. I'm cool with any facet of any culture that is in correlation with Islaam but anything that contradicts it holds no place in my heart. I can not tolerate nationalism, racism and/or any pride associated with those types of isms and even moreso when I see those characteristics subtly emanate from religious people.
I strive to be a practicing Muslim and follow the teachings of the Qur'an and the Authentic Sunnah according to the understanding of the Companions of Allaah's Messenger (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam).
Physically I stand at about 5'4, brown/tanned skin, slim athletic build, weight fluctuating anywhere from 130 to 140 lbs. I wear prescription glasses and to my knowledge, do not have any serious health issue. I do have a beard which I do not trim nor cut and I wear my pants above the ankles according to the teachings of Islaam.
I'm an easy going person, if and when I have time, I like to try different ethnic cuisines, enjoy sight seeing, long drives, calisthenics, gym, taking long walks, playing chess, and reading/listening to lectures to educate myself Deen wise. I listen to lectures by speakers like Dawud Adeeb, Fareed Abdullah, Abu Uways, Dawud Burbank, Dr. Saleh as Saleh, etc.
It is noteworthy to mention that although I'm looking to get married, I'm NOT in any rush to have children right after marriage. In fact, I'm hoping to find someone who is prepared to invest time in getting to know one another properly and build together and let time take it's course. I find too often, couples marry and rush to having kids without giving enough time to understand each other first and this can cause irreparable damage.

What I Am Looking For
She must be a religious woman, knowledge wise, I don't care if she knows a lot or very little as long as she applies what she knows and puts in a consistent effort to learn and devotedly would strive to fulfil her obligations to Allaah and then naturally by default towards her husband. When it's "Allaah and His Messenger said...", she accepts and applies with a loving heart. She doesn't justify sins or belittles them.
She is good with children and senior/elderly folks.
I'm not picky with race or ethnic background. Alaska or South Sudan, it doesn't matter!
Physically, I would like someone to be close to my height, slim to average weight with healthy physique. She is health conscious and maintains a good hygiene. I admire feminine characteristics in a woman; soft spoken, selfless, kind hearted, patient. I would like someone who is very honest, not easily (negatively) influenced by others (not a push-over who is easily swayed to compromise the Deen), she is content with little and not impulsive/hasty in making rash decisions.
I'm looking for a sister who comes from a family where both of her parents have been actively involved in her religious upbringing. If she is a convert, I would still prefer that she is someone who comes from a family-oriented background wherein both of her parents have been actively involved in her sound moral upbringing.
